Tracy Morgan apologizes in Nashville

Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan found himself in deep trouble over hateful and disgusting comments he made in his stand-up comedy show held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville in early June. In his show he mentioned that if he were to have a gay son he would have stabbed the child. When a gay audience member posted on his Facebook about it sparked universal outrage.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) got involved and there were calls for Tracy Morgan to apologize for his remarks. Tracy Morgan has spent several days meeting with members of the gay community including homeless gay youth and the parents and families of victims of anti-gay violence. The video in this blog post is of Tracy Morgan's official public apology to the Nashville community.
