The McCainASAURUS vs. The Mighty Prince Obama: I think I'm headed to the Barr

I think I am still one of the "undecided" for this election. Actually, its more of which evil is less enough to consider or should I just consider staying home on November 4th.

I have many concerns and don't have the time to type them all out. I do have work to do and a little bit of a life to live. I have always been an independent as far as politics are concerned but my political beliefs lean toward Libertarians. The Libertarian Candidate for President is former congressman from Georgia Bob Barr and his vice presidential running mate is Wayne Allyn Root. But you wouldn't know that because of this country's obsession with just TWO political parties. Most voters are too brainwashed toward the Democrats and Republicans to consider anything else.

Bob Barr was a former Republican who abandoned that political party. Maybe he saw some light. I don't know. I do know that I appreciate him for his support for THE FAIR TAX, a complete tax reform that would revolutionize our economy for true fairness in the system and for prosperity. It would get rid of the IRS as we know it and live would be so much easier. You should read about it, start with the (www.fairtax.org) Fairtax website and order the well informed books on the subject. Compare it to what you have to deal with now and you may want to see a radical change.

Libertarians also seem to be more for true freedom and liberty in this USA. They tend to mind their own business and allow others to mind theirs without restrictions. Republicans want to control your body and select freedoms for select people in this country but want every one's tax dollars. Democrats want more of a free ride on the hard work of the wealthy and to regulate how the wealthy do their work. They want and whine about everything but aren't willing to work hard enough to get it themselves.

As for the two political clowns who get all of the attention, I think the two major candidates picked the WORST possible choices for VP. BOTH of them screwed up on that one. Both of them talk a lot of crap including the use of the word "change" but it is all the same old crap.

Change? Barack Obama's main slogan. How the hell do we get change when you pick a running mate that has been a part of the messed up establishment for the past 36 years? What change? What substance? I don't see any.

And what did they slip into John McCain's cereal on the morning he thought to pick the winking Hockey Mom as a running mate. There are many conservatives and Republicans who actually live the policies they believe in. Sarah Palin and family are the epitome of hypocrisy according to the traditional conservative line.

The debates with these clowns have offered very little in substance and new ideas for a real change in this country.

I am also disgusted that they never allow a third party candidate to participate in the debates! I am so sick of this domination of Democrats and Republicans.

Dammit, let the other political parties have a voice. Some political parties (like the Green party) MAY be a little off the wall but if we were reasonably intelligent about this instead of simply following some party line like a flock of buzzards to road kill then maybe, just maybe we could find an independent or different political party candidate that actually shares REAL concerns with us and actually gives a damn about us more than the power their political title offers.

Maybe I'm a political radical. The people who are on either side of the traditional top two political party lines often think of independents like me as misguided or ignorant. Some have said worse. But honestly, those factors apply to people who don't have the capacity to think for themselves and follow whatever their political party leaders tell them. Even worse are the people who follow every word of political party mouthpieces like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. I am finding it difficult to separate their impact on the STUPIDITY of the USA from the trailer park trash you see on Jerry Springer or the ghetto baby mama sluts on Maury. Stupid is as stupid appears.

People who register for a specific political party (THANK GOD WE DON'T DO THAT IN GEORGIA!!!!) and people who vote for a strict party line are another great problem for this nation. You may think you are open minded but you are not. I wish you would finally see the light and know that the political party ass that you have been kissing for so long has really been shitting on you.

Sure that is a rude comment, but the truth hurts. But you wouldn't really notice that because you continue to believe the lies that your political party has been feeding to you.

Some of you may finally see a little light (at least in your wallet) now that BOTH political parties recently voted for a financial bailout of Wall Street that has so far done nothing but add to the sinking ship of corruption and corporate greed. Yes, that politician you voted for and some of you asked to not vote for the bailout did so anyway and proudly admitted they didn't care about your opposition. But i'm sure you will still vote for that candidate anyway because of either the "D" or the "R" next to their name. You just can't bring yourself to vote for a person rather than their political affiliation.

I NEVER vote for any political party. I vote the PERSON who I best agree with on a variety of issues. Sadly, most of those votes have been throwaways for the lesser of the evils. And it looks like 2008 is no exception.

I don't trust the McCainasaurus or The Mighty Prince Obama.

On a local level, my Democratic congressman Jim Marshall is a Democrat in name only and every year proving to be waste of space. Sure he is a great supporter of our Military and our troops. But he can do that as a civilian. He has been worthless in our congress. Same for my former congressman who has spent the last 6 years as a Republican senator from Georgia, Saxby Chambliss. Time for him to go too. I don't hold much hope for those who are running against them (Rick Goddard, congress and Jim Martin, senate). But why not take a chance on them since we are all about this "CHANGE'.

Lets change the game completely. Change all the bozos in the political circus.
