Ladies and Gentlemen as we begin August 1st with the relaunch of my blogging habit under the new name "The Rainbow Soul Journal" I offer this first of what will surely be many CLASSIC SOUL songs featured here.
For those of you who are friends of mine on Facebook or who are members of THE SOUL MUSIC APPRECIATION SOCIETY on Facebook then you know I pay tribute to the original soul music legends on their birthdays and on the anniversaries of their death.

The Return of blogging.
Well it has been a long time since I blogged on a regular basis. I was busy with many things over the past half year. I even neglected my blogging impressions of The Amazing Race for an entire season.
Well come August 1st, its time to get back into the groove....The Blogging Groove that is! And this blog will now feature activism, opinion and my love for classic Soul music. It's going to be a strange mix but hopefully you'll enjoy reading it.
In recent months I gained some followers of this blog. THANK YOU to each of you. Perhaps you'll follow me on Twitter as well. Everything will be linked when I resume blogging on August 1st as "The E Blog" becomes "The Rainbow Soul Journal".
