A conference promoting failed teachings that people could be "cured" of their homosexuality was protested by more than 50. And I was one of the protesters. On Saturday February 18, 2012 several groups from Atlanta, Macon, Athens and Savannah Georgia representing The Queer Justice League, Get Equal, Georgia Equality, PFLAG, Macon State College GSA and even folks from Ohio traveled to participate in this protest.
